This policy explains how Sit Means Sit Reno (“we,” “us”) handles information collected through sitmeanssitreno.com, our phone line, text messages, email, and our training programs. We are an independently owned and operated Sit Means Sit franchise serving the Reno area and Northern Nevada.

Information you give us

When you fill out a form, call, text, or book a call or evaluation, we collect what you share: your name, phone number, email address, your dog’s name, breed, and age, the behavior you want help with, and your interest in financing. During training we also keep notes about your dog’s progress, your schedule, and your program.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, and what devices they use.
• Advertising measurement. We use Google Ads tags to learn which ads lead to calls and form submissions. On some pages a tracking phone number forwards to our main line so we can tell which calls came from an ad.
• Campaign details. Our site stores the ad or campaign details from the link you arrived on (for example, campaign name or ad click ID) in your browser so we know which ad or source brought you to us. These are sent with your form if you submit one.

How we use your information

• To respond to you, schedule calls and evaluations, and provide training.
• To send appointment confirmations, reminders, training updates, and follow-ups by phone, text, or email.
• To measure which advertising works. When you contact us after clicking a Google ad, we may share your email address or phone number with Google in a scrambled (hashed) form so Google can match the inquiry to the ad click. Google receives the scrambled value, not your readable contact details.
• To improve our website, programs, and service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our customer management and messaging platform, Google (analytics and advertising measurement), our website host, and our payment and financing processors, and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted, we may text you about your inquiry, appointments, and training. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.

Your choices

• Opt out of texts by replying STOP, or of email by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
• Ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us below. We may keep records we are required to keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.
• Limit analytics and ad tracking through your browser settings, Google’s Ads Settings, or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information. You may still send us a request to opt out of any future sale by contacting us below.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as we need it to serve you, run the business, and meet legal obligations.

Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
