How do you get a reliable off-leash recall?
We build recall as the most rewarding thing your dog knows, then proof it against real distractions — wildlife, other dogs, smells — using our attention-based remote collar system so the dog is reliable at a distance, not just when a treat is visible.
Is off-leash training safe for hiking around Reno and Tahoe?
That is exactly what it is for. Clients hike the Mt. Rose and Lake Tahoe trails off-leash with their dogs after the program. We still recommend following posted leash rules and keeping the dog in sight around wildlife.
Can a dog that bolts out doors be trained off-leash?
