Start your puppy right — confidence, manners, and socialization.
The habits and confidence your puppy builds now shape the dog they become. Dogs that miss key socialization windows often grow up fearful or reactive. We start puppies off right with structured socialization, foundational obedience, and the confidence to handle the world.
We start with a free evaluation to understand your dog and your goals. Then we build a structured day-train program — your dog trains with our team by day and comes home each night, and we teach you the same tools through in-home lessons so the results last for life.
Every program includes our 4-week guarantee and lifetime free group classes after graduation. Whether you’re in Sparks, Carson City, or anywhere in the Reno area, we’re here to help.
By submitting, you agree to be contacted by Sit Means Sit Reno by phone, text, and email about your inquiry. Message/data rates may apply.
Our flagship program for obedience, manners, and lifestyle access.
Learn MoreAn intensive program for reactive, fearful, or aggressive dogs.
Learn MoreWe start puppies as young as 8–10 weeks. The socialization window closes around 16 weeks, so early structure matters more than waiting for vaccinations to be complete — we train in controlled environments until they are.
Yes — those three are the most common reasons new puppy owners call us. All are normal, and all are addressed in the program alongside foundational obedience and socialization.
Puppies benefit from both. Day-train builds the foundation quickly with a trainer; group classes reinforce it around other dogs. Group classes are free for life for every graduate.
Yes. The program is built for any breed and adjusted to the individual puppy — a French Bulldog, a working-line Shepherd, and a Doodle need different pacing, and the evaluation sets that up.
